The EuroMillions jackpot is still rolling and Friday’s (September 22) top prize is estimated at £136m.
This is the biggest jackpot of 2017, with retail sales predicted to be 146% higher than for a normal EuroMillions draw.
Camelot is spending 50% more than usual to promote the draw, including TV, radio, press and retail posters/media screens.
Predicting a “sales frenzy”, the lottery operator advised retailers to inform customers about the unusually large jackpot, and to make the most of players coming back in-store to check their tickets after the draw.
If the jackpot isn’t won on Friday, it will roll over to next Tuesday.
