In addition to its perennial ‘Holidays are Coming’ advert, which was dusted off last Friday (10 November), Coca-Cola will also launch a new 2023 Christmas campaign, ‘The World Needs More Santas,’ this Friday (17 November).

The new ad celebrates the spirit of Santa Claus in all of us and portrays a city where hundreds of Santas walk the streets. Over the course of the short film, a number of Santas help and support others, building to the understanding that this is a world full of Santas, and a world full of kindness.

The ad ends with the revelation that it was in fact depicting people’s ‘inner Santa’ as they performed acts of generosity and goodwill, closing with the line, ‘The World Needs More Santas’.

Elodie Peribere, Director of Marketing at Coca-Cola Great Britain, said the ‘Holidays Are Coming’ advert “remains a cherished and much-loved part of Christmas for Brits”.

She added: “We are also delighted to launch our new advert for 2023, ‘The World Needs More Santas,’ which we hope inspires consumers across the UK to find their ‘inner Santa Claus’ this festive period.”
