Women in wholesale 2018 conference

Organisers of educational networking initiative Women in Wholesale (WiW) have announced the speakers for this year’s conference under the theme ‘Progress to Success’.

The event takes place on 10 October at 1 Wimpole Street, London.

Keynote presenter Neil Bellamy, Head of Tech for NatWest, will reveal how the bank has transformed its workspace using technology and interior design to support flexible and remote working – helping to attract the best people.

Other key talks include Costco’s HR manager Dominic Flanagan. He will reveal the best practice tips that helped the wholesaler to beat Google in becoming the world’s Best Place to Work.

Branching out into wider inclusivity issues, 443’s Founder Jason Finch will discuss the issues that can be faced everyday by LGBT individuals coming out in the workplace.

Afternoon speakers will support individual progress delving into topics like resilience, and how to tackle imposter syndrome – an issue that affects many men and women in the workplace.

A ‘How to be Brilliant’ panel will showcase award-winning talent, with speakers from Bidfood, JJ Foodservice, KP Snacks and Caterforce sharing tips that have helped them thrive in their careers.

The guest speaker is Carol Glover of Carol Glover Coaching, who will discuss time management. Glover has helped entrepreneurs, leaders and organisations (including WiW) to explore original and inventive ways to simplify complex problems. She was voted top speaker at WiW’s Speed 2019 event by 61% of attendees.
