WKD X grows range and unveils debut ad campaign

WKD X Purple Grape and Citrus Ice cans

WKD X has added two new flavours to its caffeine-containing 7% ABV range and launched its first-ever media campaign.

The two flavours – Purple Grape and Citrus Ice – join the existing line-up of Blue Raspberry, Mango Passion, and Dark Berry.

Both initially roll out in 500ml single cans, price-marked at £2.99.

The launch coincides with the appearance of the first-ever ad campaign for WKD X, with a three-week burst across 1,200 poster sites UK-wide, featuring two messages: ‘Shout out to our X-es’ and ‘So xtra’. The out-of-home campaign is bolstered by social media and influencer-related activities.

The RTD’s sales volumes are currently up 88% year on year and set to benefit from a new listing that will see WKD X stocked in 650 Morrisons Daily stores.
