Whyte & Mackay named UK Spirits Producer of the Year

Whyte & Mackay has been awarded the International Wine and Spirit Competition Trophy for ‘United Kingdom Spirits Producer of the Year’.

Having picked up gold medals for its portfolio of brands including The Dalmore and Jura, as well as a range of its private label products, the company was subsequently put forward for, and won, the overarching trophy UK Spirits Producer of the Year category.

Bryan Donaghey, CEO of Whyte & Mackay, said: “This accolade symbolises the dedication, integrity and passion that each person at Whyte & Mackay applies to their work on a day to day basis.  I would like to thank everyone at Whyte and Mackay for the hard work and the commitment they have shown. This award is the result of a fantastic team performance.”

The award was presented on Thursday 26th November, at the annual International Wine & Spirit Competition Banquet held at Guildhall in London. Founded in 1969, the IWSC is considered to be the most prestigious competition of its kind in the world.
