Whyte & Mackay has teamed up with Underbelly at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2018 to launch its biggest consumer competition to date – giving whisky and comedy fans throughout the UK a chance to win one of 10 VIP festival trips.
Each prize includes two tickets to a show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, exclusive access to Underbelly’s VIP bar, return rail travel from any mainland UK station, one night’s accommodation in Edinburgh and £250 spending money. In addition to the main prize, consumers will receive 80 hours of free on-demand comedy with an exclusive three-month trial of Next Up – the Netflix of stand-up comedy.
The neck tag competition runs from now until June 30. It forms part of Whyte & Mackay’s #FunnyAsFolk campaign, which sees the brand continue to use humour and work with comedians throughout the UK. Whyte & Mackay kicked off 2018 by sponsoring The Glasgow International Comedy Festival for the first time, paying homage to its Glaswegian roots.
Ruairi Perry, Head of Blended Whisky for Whyte & Mackay, said: “We’ve already enjoyed a fantastic start to the year with our sponsorship of the Whyte & Mackay Glasgow International Comedy Festival and now we’re continuing to share some dram good laughs by partnering with Underbelly at the Edinburgh Fringe – one of the most iconic festivals in the world. Humour unites us, which is why we’re excited to be giving lighter blends drinkers and comedy fans throughout the UK the chance to win a VIP experience at Underbelly.”
