Doritos and Burger King have teamed up to launch new Flame-Grilled-Whopper flavour Doritos.
The new tortilla chips are said to taste “deliciously close to the real deal” – even down to the pickles. Despite this, the product is certified suitable for vegetarians.
The launch is supported by an on-pack promotion, which gives consumers the chance to get their hands on a free Whopper meal when they buy a selected meal at Burger King. One imagines vegetarians can’t contain themselves. The promotion runs across Doritos Sharing formats (180g, 230g and 70g) and is open until 30 October 2023.
In April and May, the new flavour will be further boosted by a wider multi-media campaign and in-store shopper activity.
Flame-Grilled-Whopper flavour Doritos will be available from mid-March in 180g sharing bag (£2.25 RSP) and 70g (£1.25 RSP) formats.
