Pork Farms is adding to its Wall’s Pastry range with the launch of a new hot pie.
The 150g pies – in both Chicken & Mushroom and Steak flavours – roll out into stores tomorrow. The move into the hot pie sector was a natural step for Wall’s and the initial launch of two varieties is the start of new product development in this market.
Kim Burgess, Head of Markets for Pork Farms said: “Customer feedback is key to driving our ranges forward. Those consumers who are already fans of our chilled product range have told us that they also want the option of larger, more substantial hot pies to sit alongside our range of slices that can be consumed more as a main meal with potatoes, vegetables or salad accompaniments.”
Wall’s Pastry hot pies are available from September 8th with an rrp of £1.49.
