Walkers has revealed its latest campaign, titled ‘Bring It Back’.
The campaign gives consumers the chance to vote for their favourite flavour to rejoin the Walkers range. The public can choose from Barbeque, Lamb & Mint, Toasted Cheese, Beef & Onion, and Cheese & Chive. Marmite flavour is excluded from the vote, and will be back straight away.
Available from 10th August, the new ‘Bring It Back’ range will showcase previous flavours from the Walkers portfolio, and consumers can vote online or through social media channels. The winning variant will be brought back to the Walkers offering and all those that vote will have the chance to win £100,000, as well as an array of weekly prizes.
Rachel Holms, Walkers Marketing Director commented: “The campaign will drive excitement within the CSN category, whilst also helping retailers to increase incremental sales by offering shoppers the chance to try the limited edition flavours and even win a £100,000 cash prize.”
The range will be available in single packs (rrp £0.57), grab bags (rrp £0.89), a six-pack multipack (rrp £1.50) and a 24 pack multipack (rrp £4.00). The promotion will be supported with a new TV campaign, digital and strong levels of in-store shopper marketing.
