Varta has rolled out a pair of rechargeable torches that the battery specialist says are so powerful they virtually “cut” the night.
The Night Cutter F20R (pictured) (RSP £36.99) offers precision focus and has a beam range of up to 147m, a total light output of 400 lumens and four light modes: low, medium, high and strobe. The compact aluminium torch has a 22-hour running time and comes with a carry clip. The torch is also shock proof (up to two metres) and water resistant.
The Night Cutter F30R (RSP £49.99) boasts all the features of the smaller F20R but has the additional benefits of a 300m maximum beam range, 700 lumens total light output and an extended 24-hour running time. Additionally, the torch can be used as an emergency power bank that can charge small electrical devices via an integrated USB-out socket.
The torches also come with a three-year manufacturer’s warranty.
