Tropicana’s on-the-go range is set to relaunch this month with all new packaging across its 250ml PMP and 300ml formats.
In addition to receiving a visual refresh, the bottles will comprise of 50% recycled plastic.
Caroline Wilding, Marketing Manager for Tropicana, said the new bottles design had “really resonated” with shoppers throughout pre-launch testing, with research indicating a 49% increase in purchase intent.
Commenting on the switch to 50% recycled plastic, she added: “We know consumers want to make a positive difference through their consumption, and they’re increasingly seeking out those brands that are leading the way on causes they care about.”
The new bottles form part of PepsiCo’s plan to make all its packaging 100% recyclable, compostable or biodegradable by 2025.
