The Today’s Group has appointed Mark Bottomley (pictured) as Digital Business Development Controller for the Group.
Bottomley’s role will be to focus on digital activation in both the wholesale and retail environments, working with the team to develop work that is already in place following the Group’s recent partnership agreement with BigDL, the app-based platform targeted at consumers via the BigDL app and the Plan for Profit app aimed at independent retailers and wholesale members.
His experience both working in a number of wholesale environments and more recently with supplier LR Suntory, makes him extremely well placed to drive forward the Group’s digital agenda.
John Schofield, Acting Managing Director for Today’s Group, said: “I am absolutely delighted that Mark has joined the team here at Doncaster. Our digital agenda is a key part of our strategy going forward and equipping both our wholesale members and Symbol retailers with the digital tools to grow their businesses is of the utmost importance to us – Mark’s role as Digital Business Development Controller will support us in achieving our objectives”.
