The Today’s Group has partnered with Bolt Learning to offer an online training solution to its independent wholesale members.
The new initiative will provide the Group’s 143 members with access to online training modules covering a range of topics including GDPR; health and safety; and management skills. The initial training modules roll out next month (May 2018).
Darren Goldney, MD of the Today’s Group, said “We are delighted to be partnering with Bolt to step change the Today’s Group training and development programme. In a trade sector where colleagues are often stretched for time, online learning offers an ideal solution to ensure Today’s Group members can truly invest in their people and capabilities. The training and development of staff is a key element of our journey to make Today’s Group members the first-choice business partner in the wholesale channel.”
Tom Fender, Director at Bolt, added: “We are delighted to have been selected as the training partner for The Today’s Group and its independent wholesale members.
“We appreciate that wholesalers need a raft of training options to attract talented individuals, improve skills and remain compliant. Today’s Group members will have access to a range of digital training modules, which can be undertaken at any time, on any device, anywhere. They are also cost effective and relevant to the wholesale sector, and we believe this will be the start of a great relationship with The Today’s Group.”
Bolt’s growing roster of clients includes McColl’s, MRH, Sewell on the go, Camelot and Weetabix.
