UK importer Morgenrot has extended its selection of world beers and ciders with the addition of three beers from the McGargles range: Granny Mary’s Red Ale (abv 4.4%), Cousin Rosie’s Pale Ale (abv 4.5%) and the more potent Knock Knock Ned’s IPA (abv 6.5%). The beers will initially be available in 33cl bottles.
McGargles is produced by the Rye River Brewery Company, which only uses natural ingredients and eschews additives, preservatives or adjuncts. Co-founder Niall Phelan is delighted to be working with Morgenrot to bring the beers to Scotland. He commented: “We wanted to create beers which pack a punch when it comes to taste but are also fun and approachable.”
“There’s already a buzz surrounding the McGargles brand in Ireland and we’re thrilled to be the sole distributor of the brand in the UK,” said Graham Archibald, Morgenrot Sales Director. “The timing couldn’t be better with interest in exciting craft beers north of the border continuing to boom.”
