Fittingly, given the Emerald Isle’s record as the most successful country at the competition, Irish cream liqueur brand Baileys has announced a three-year sponsorship deal with the Eurovision Song Contest.
As Official Partner to the annual celebration of European weirdness, which this year takes place in Liverpool from 9 to 13 May, Baileys says it will bring “playful, delicious moments” to both the event itself and to Eurovision Song Contest parties held in living rooms across the UK. Fair play – it’s a hard watch sober.
