Tennent’s Lager is rolling out a system that allows five-a-side players to capture video highlights on demand throughout their matches.
Called T5s, the technology lets players upload the last 20 seconds of action by simply hitting one of four giant red buttons positioned on the sidelines. Clips can then be viewed via social media or a dedicated app.
Players will be able to save their own videos to their T5s profile page, creating a personal playlist. An accompanying T5s smartphone app will also make it easy for players to organise games, invite their mates and issue awards after games, from Man of the Match, to Best Goal, or Most Embarrassing Miss.
“T5s is set to make a game of fives with your pals a lot more interesting,” said Jane Cannon, Marketing Manager for Tennent’s Lager. “Tennent’s has had a long association with football – but the game has never seen anything like this before. We’re really excited to introduce it. Now, anyone that plays fives can get their very own highlights package and share it online too.”
T5s launches at Rouken Glen Prosoccer on 18th February, followed by Ayr Prosoccer and East Kilbride Playsport at the end of the month.
