Like most of us of a certain age, Tennent’s Lager had a bit of a different look back in the 1980s, which the brewer is bringing back for a limited time.
To celebrate 130 years of brewing, the brand is launching packs decked out in a design which first saw the light of day when shoulder pads and stone-washed jeans weren’t items of derision.
In stores now, the limited-edition packs are available in Spar and Keystore outlets across Scotland in packs of six and 12.
Also, if punters have any Tennent’s Lager memorabilia from the 80s they’d like to share, the brewer will gift them one of the retro six-packs. All they need to do is pop into the brewery with their treasure, or tweet a picture to @tennentslager using #TLRetro.
Paul Condron, Marketing Director at Tennent Caledonian said: “We’re sure there’s plenty of 80s Tennent’s memorabilia out there and we look forward to seeing it. We think the packaging will be a hit, but would like to point out that you don’t need to have a mullet to enjoy it.”
