On Monday (Sept 9) former One Stop national operations manager Taranjit Singh Dhillon will start as Nisa’s Head of Retail, a position previously held by Victoria Lockie, who is now Retail Director at Unitas Wholesale.
Dhillon, who has 20 years in retail, joins Katie Secretan’s Retail & Sales Leadership Team and will be responsible for the development and delivery of Nisa’s retail strategy, across the diverse network of customer stores.
Secretan, Director of Sales and Retail at Nisa, said: “I’m thrilled to have Taranjit join the Nisa team. His hands-on experience in independent retail and ability to build franchise relationships is exactly what we need to take our retailer proposition to the next level, and I’m confident he’s the right person to lead our retail team. Taranjit’s fresh ideas and proven success in driving growth will be key in helping us achieve our long-term strategy.”
At One Stop Dhillon was responsible for overseeing a network of 350 franchisees, working with retail teams to optimise store layouts and implementing a strategy to maximise revenue and profitability. Prior to One Stop, he held senior roles at Lidl and PepsiCo. His wide-ranging experience puts him in a strong position to lead Nisa’s expansion and growth efforts, focusing on practical, customer-focused solutions that make a real difference for independent retailers.
He said: “This is an exciting time for independent retailing and I’m delighted to be joining Katie and the dynamic team at Nisa. I look forward to using my experience to enhance our proposition, help drive recruitment, and continue delivering value for our retailers.”
Secretan is set to bolster her team with further appointments to follow later in Q4.
