Spirits distributor Speciality Brands has taken over all UK commercial and marketing activities for the Takamaka rum brand from Highball Brands, effective from 1 March.
Founded more than 22 years ago in Seychelles, Takamaka joins the likes of rums such as Hampden, Black Tot, Clairin and Renegade, and expands Speciality’s portfolio with its two award-winning ranges. The Seychelles Series offers easy-drinking and approachable rums, ideal in cocktails, whilst the St André Series blends Takamaka’s creole soul with innovative rum-making technique and is aimed at seasoned drinkers.
