Strongbow has launched a refreshed pack design and a new Tropical Cider flavour in a bid to attract a new generation of cider drinkers.
A new stripped-back design featuring the brand’s archer front and centre with vibrant pops of colour sees out the black and gold colour palette that’s been in use since Strongbow launched in 1960.
The new look is supported by a wider £20m marketing campaign kicking off from April.
It rolls out at the same time as brand-new variant Strongbow Tropical Cider, which boasts mango and pineapple flavours.
The latest addition to the Strongbow portfolio contains no artificial flavours, sweeteners and colours, and is 4% ABV. It is available in 500ml bottles and 4 x 440ml can multipacks from this month.
Heineken UK Cider Brand Director Rachel Holms said Strongbow Tropical “will further encourage new drinkers into the cider category, providing experimental consumers with an exciting new flavour to try whatever the occasion.”
