AG Barr’s Strathmore water brand has been announced as the national supplier of bottled water for the IAAF World Indoor Championships Birmingham 2018.
More than 60,000 packs of the water – which is bottled at source in the Vale of Strathmore, near Glamis Castle – will be supplied to the event.
Bottles will be available for athletes, officials and volunteers at the official venue, plus at other key sites including the Birmingham High Performance Centre, the training venue for the Championships, and in all the official hotels. It will also be on sale throughout Arena Birmingham to spectators attending the event.
Adrian Troy, Marketing Director at AG Barr, said: “The IAAF World Championships in London was a phenomenal event to be a part of and we’re delighted to be able to strengthen our relationship with the IAAF by becoming the national water supplier of the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Birmingham.”
More than 400 athletes from 150 countries are expected to take part in the Championships, which will be held at Arena Birmingham from March 1 to 4, 2018.
