Treasury Wine Estates’ wine brand, Squealing Pig, has launched ‘Summer of Love,’ its first ever out-of-home campaign.
Running until 28 August, Summer of Love sees adverts placed across London, Edinburgh, Manchester, Brighton and Leeds, promoting Squealing Pig’s Italian Pinot Grigio Rosé, New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and Mendoza Malbec. The campaign is aiming for 12 million views in the target cities using a variety of formats including buses and full building wraps. It is supported with in-store and social media activities.
As part of its wider growth strategy, the wine brand is supporting the queer community as official wine sponsor of both Brighton & Hove Pride (5-6 August) and Manchester Pride (25-28 August) weekends. As well as sampling activities, the six-metre-long Squealing Pig balloon will take part in the events’ community parades.
Commenting on the campaign, Ben Blake, Head of Marketing EMEA at Treasury Wine Estates, said: “This is a major stepping stone for us and we want to watch the pig fly as we continue to champion this brand and significantly raise awareness of Squealing Pig among UK consumers through impactful campaigns such as this.”
