Swizzels has unveiled its first ever TV sponsorship for Squashies, marking the launch of a new integrated campaign.
Running throughout the summer, sponsorship bumpers will appear around prime STV shows in Scotland, including popular programmes such as Britain’s Got Talent, This Morning, and Coronation Street.
Viewers should have more than 15 chances to see the bumpers throughout the summer, which celebrate Squashies’ position as the No. 1 sugar hanging bag brand in the market.
The 10-second clips star company mascot Mr. Swizzels, who takes viewers on a brief factory tour to showcase the Squashies range and reveal the secret to how the sweets are made. There are four different versions, each highlighting a different flavour.
The TV sponsorship coincides with the national launch of new variant Strawberry & Cream Squashies. Other flavours include Original Drumstick, Bubblegum, Sour Cherry & Apple, Rhubarb & Custard, and Banana & Blueberry, available to retailes in cases of 12, with an RSP of £1.15 per pack.

Swizzels encouraged retailers to stock up on the full Squashies range in anticipation of increased demand generated by the campaign.
