Spar stores are selling bunches of fresh daffodils in support of Marie Curie and its 2020 Great Daffodil Appeal.
Freshly cut daffodils are now on sale in Spar stores all over the UK at only £1 for the duration of the flower season. Ten pence from the sale of each bouquet will be donated to the terminal illness charity Marie Curie.
Alex Hall, Spar UK Marketing Manager said: “We are thrilled to be able to support our national charity partner Marie Curie with this beautiful initiative. Our aim is to sell 250,000 bunches of daffodils and raise a huge amount of money for Marie Curie’s Great Daffodil Appeal.
“This initiative is set to be our biggest fundraising activity since our partnership began in 2017 and it’s great to have the full support of Spar retailers and wholesalers.”
Hundreds of Spar stores will be supporting Marie Curie’s Great Daffodil Appeal with a host of in-store activities. The initiative is also supported by marketing and digital collateral, with additional messaging created for Mother’s Day to bolster the campaign in March.
