The Spar store in Kincorth, Aberdeen, this week welcomed the Scottish Gas Women’s Scottish Cup in-store.
Access to the Scottish Cup was possible from the extension of Spar Scotland’s sponsorship with the Scottish FA.
Paula Middleton, Head of Marketing for Spar Scotland, said: “It was really encouraging to see so many customers visit our Spar store in Kincorth and have their photo taken with the Scottish Gas Women’s Scottish Cup.
“We had a huge amount of fun with our spinning wheel for prizes. Customers really enjoyed it. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly seeing and hearing the Scottish Cup being piped into the store by Area Manager Garry Brailsford – it truly was a special moment.”
In addition, colleagues from SGFs Healthy Living Programme (HLP) were in attendance with children from the local primary school Abbotswell Primary who has their photos taken with the Scottish Cup while also taking part in the healthy living event.
Abbotswell Primary and Kincorth Community Hub were also each presented with cheque donations.
