Snappy Shopper retailers in Scotland are taking part in the home delivery app’s cost-of-living promotion today and tomorrow (18 & 19 October).
The Big Brand Bundle costs just one penny and includes items with a combined retail value of nearly £10.
Each bundle will contains 75L bottle of Diet Coke, Share bag of Haribo Starmix/Fangtastic, 140g Maltesers, Pot Noodle, Tetley’s Tea Bags 40 pack, 6-pack crisps including Walkers, Golden Wonder, and a packet of McVities Chocolate Digestives.
Snappy Shopper and participating retailers will pick up the cost of the promotion, while Snappy Shopper is also investing heavily in marketing to raise awareness and support local retailers.
Scott Campbell, Snappy Shopper Co-Founder, said: “Local retailers and their communities have always been at the heart of everything we do at Snappy Shopper. As the cost-of-living crisis has escalated over the past few months, we’ve been committed to doing our utmost to lend that helping hand, alongside our retailers, to our customers who might be struggling to cope with rising costs.
“The response for our one penny lunch bundle has been unprecedented, which has prompted us to go a step further in offering our Big Brand Bundle. Not only do the items included in the bundle have a higher value than previous promotions, but they’re all popular household brands. We want to enable customers to treat themselves to the brands they love without paying a premium and that’s exactly what this bundle does.”
Over the past month, Snappy Shopper retailers have offered ‘penny lunch bundles’ including bread, juice, sandwich fillers, crisps and fruit to thousands of families across Scotland, England and Wales for the low price of just one penny.
