Snack-a-Jacks shrink to fit the On-the-Go occasion

Snack-a-Jacks has launched new ‘Minis’ to give shoppers an on-the-go option for the brand.

The new rice cakes, which are available now, are coated in yogurt or milk chocolate, with an RSP of 65p per 14g pack of four.

The new format provides shoppers with a convenient snack with an “edge of indulgence”, which is under 75 calories per pack.

Snack-a-Jacks has a loyal consumer base with a 48% repeat rate, and the brand is expecting the new chocolate/yogurt coated Minis to further increase its appeal.

Thomas Barkholt, Marketing Director at PepsiCo, said: “We know that lower calorie products are popular with shoppers who are increasingly looking for Better-For-You snacks. We’re confident that new Snack-a-Jack Minis will provide people with a product that delivers against this, as well as being convenient and great tasting.

“The food-to-go sector is currently worth over £17.4bn and expected to grow even further over the next five years, so ensuring that we are providing our brands in convenient formats, is vital. The popularity of the Snack-a-Jacks brand will also help retailers capitalise on the On-the-Go occasion, enabling them to make the most of their front-of-store sales.”
