This year sees the 10th anniversary of the SLR Awards and we are all set to celebrate in suitable style by launching the biggest and most spectacular Awards night we’ve ever seen. On 6th June the biggest names in retail will gather in Glasgow to see who has been crowned Scottish Local Retailer of the Year. And, in true SLR style, we’ve been working away to ensure that the night is unlike any other in the retail calendar.
Last year saw Saleem Sadiq of Spar Renfrew named Scottish Local Retailer of the Year, joining some of the biggest names in the industry – names like Billy Kay, Wilson Rea, Walter Bryson, Chris McCallum and Dennis & Linda Williams.
In addition to our Retailer of the Year, we’ll be handing out Awards to the retailers who excel in the most important categories in convenience – plus there will be a number of special awards that reflect ongoing industry trends.
And that’s not all – on the afternoon of the Awards the SLR Awards Seminar will be back for a fourth year, giving shortlisted retailers and invited guests the chance to pick up some invaluable advice from innovative players in the convenience industry.
How to enter
Entry forms will be sent out in the February issue of SLR, while a dedicated website is set to launch this month. To enter all you have to do is complete the form, with your details and indicate which categories you would like to enter.
