Slater survives vote of no confidence

Lorna Slater, the minister responsible for the delayed deposit return scheme, has survived a vote of no confidence.

Conservative MSP Liam Kerr had attempted to have Slater removed from her role as Minister for Green Skills, Circular Economy and Biodiversity.

However, Slater was backed by 68 MSPs to continue in the role, while 55 voted for her to be removed from her post.
