Scottish Rugby, a long-term partner of healthy hydration drinks company iPRO, has teamed up with Dundee-based Spar Scotland wholesaler and retailer CJ Lang to donate over 6,000 iPRO Hydrate drinks to NHS Tayside to keep staff healthy and boost morale on hospital wards.
Jenny Alexander, Employee Director for NHS Tayside, said: “I would like to thank everyone at Scottish Rugby, CJ Lang and iPRO for thinking of our staff as we all respond to Covid-19. This thoughtfulness and generosity reminds all our staff how highly they are thought of across the country.
“We plan to distribute the iPRO drinks through our rest, relax and recharge rooms. These areas are designed as dedicated spaces away from busy environments encouraging staff to unwind, read a book and just relax. I’m certain that the iPRO drinks will go down a treat with our staff.”
Colin Chapman, CJ Lang’s Distribution Director, added: “We’re absolutely delighted to be working in partnership with iPRO and Scottish Rugby to deliver iPRO Hydrate drinks into NHS Tayside. We are very aware of the outstanding work staff within the NHS right across the UK have undertaken, not just during the Covid-19 pandemic but indeed any day of the year. We’re incredibly proud to make this first delivery into NHS Tayside and look forward to delivering more of the iPRO Hydrate drinks in the weeks to come.”
