Kerry Foods Direct to Store is launching a new Scottish range which comprises eight meat and 11 yoghurt variants. The meat products are produced by meat product manufacturer Calder Millerfield, whose products carry ‘A’ standard BRC accreditation. The new yoghurt range is made by Rowan Glen dairy in Galloway.
Richard Tyler, Customer Marketing Controller of Kerry Foods Direct to Store, says: “Our new Scottish range fills a gap in the Scottish convenience market for locally produced Scottish specialities. It also allows us to service our customers with a greater range of products in a geographical location which continues to witness exceptional growth in the convenience sector.”
The range includes two pie variants, haggis slices, a whole haggis, sausages, a breakfast pack and Rowan Glen yoghurts comprising a fruit crumble yoghurt in three variants as well as four low-fat yoghurts and four rich and creamy yoghurts. All products are available in single-pack format, from the Dundee, Glasgow and Inverness sales centres.
Price points range from £1.25 for a 225g pack of Haggis Slices, to £1.60 for a Scottish Haggis and £1.92 for a pack of two Scotch Steak Pies, which as an example will deliver the 23% profit.
