Scotmid’s Inverkeithing store has reopened (16 October) after it was forced to close in August when heavy rainfall caused considerable damage.
The store has been completely transformed; Scotmid’s Head of Food Kevin Plant believes the local community will enjoy “the new ultra-modern lay-out and expanded range of products available”.
“We’ve expanded all of our ranges in-store by 40% and we believe our members and customers will be really impressed with the new look and improved offering available,” said Plant.
“We’ve utilised the latest energy efficient technologies with refrigeration and lighting pinpointed as key priorities and the new spacious lay-out will provide an enhanced shopping experience for customers.
“Our Food to Go offering has also expanded with the introduction of a Chicken Wing & Rib Bar with the option to add in further new takeaway lines depending on our customers’ needs.”
