21 year CJ Lang veteran Philippe Rondepierre will leave his post as Sales Controller at the Spar Scotland wholesaler and retailer to take up a new role with Spar UK as Head of Marketing on March 11th.
In his new position, which will see him relocate from Dundee to Harrow, Rondepierre will be responsible for driving and implementing SPAR’s sales plan. His role will also include the vital task of delivering all the marketing elements within SPAR’s 10-point Inspiring Growth strategy.
He will report directly to Spar UK MD Debbie Robinson and will be responsible for a team of three.
Debbie Robinson said: “I am delighted that Philippe is coming to join us, bringing with him his wealth of expertise in marketing, sales and the Spar business. I have every confidence that Spar will benefit hugely from his presence on our team, and that Philippe will be instrumental in helping us continue to develop our professional marketing.”
Rondepierre himself said: “I am very happy to be taking this exciting opportunity to progress my career with Spar UK. This is a fantastic chance for me to make the most of the knowledge and experience I have gained with C J Lang and test my skills on an even larger scale.”
Scott Malcolm, CJ Lang MD added: “Philippe is a loyal and committed member of the senior management team of C J Lang and we are sad to lose him but his association with SPAR continues to both our advantages. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Philippe and thank him for his commitment to the company over the years. We wish him all the best in his new position with SPAR UK.”
