Luxury rum brand Ron Santiago de Cuba has partnered with renowned ballet dancer Carlos Acosta to relaunch its 20-Year-Old Extra Añejo Gran Reserva.
The new bottle features screen printed illustrations celebrating the city of Santiago de Cuba, housed in an intricately designed presentation box inspired by the passion and dedication of the Maestros del Ron Cubano.
Acosta has made a short film, which sees him demonstrate, through dance and spoken word, the affinity between mastering the art of ballet with the art of Cuban rum making.
He commented: “This piece tells the story of the passion and discipline that it takes for the Maestros del Ron Cubano to create a liquid of unparalleled balance that ‘dances in every glass,’ and its similarities with mastering the art of ballet – balancing your natural creative instincts with years and years of hard work, passion and dedication.”
Ron Santiago de Cuba 20-Year-Old Extra Añejo Gran Reserva is bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl format, RSP £175.
