Rockstar has upgraded its energy drinks range with the inclusion of Rockstar Freeze.
The drink is available in Frozen Lime and Frozen Watermelon flavours and contains Rockstar’s usual blend of caffeine, taurine and B vitamins. The product is available in 500ml cans and 99p price marked packs.
Adrian Troy, AG Barr’s Head of Marketing explained what makes the new Freeze products differ from Rockstar’s typical taste. “Rockstar Freeze not only tastes great, it also delivers a cool sensation which adds a new dimension to the drinking experience,” he says.
He added: “Energy shoppers love to try new drinks and exciting new flavours and concepts are the key drivers of Rockstar’s success.”
The launch will contribute to the energy drinks category which is now worth over £1bn and is growing at 3% YOY, faster than the overall soft drinks market. Rockstar makes up seven out of the top 10 fastest selling big can flavoured energy drinks. In consumer research, over 80% of shoppers said they would buy it.
A full range of eye-catching POS will be available to support the launch, including standees, posters, shelf barkers and display units.
