More than 700 individual one-to-one member and supplier meetings are planned as part of Unitas’ annual conference in Portugal this month where record numbers of supplier and wholesale companies are expected to attend. These meetings will see deals sealed on hundreds of one-time-only conference offers, as well as providing the opportunity to build on existing trading relationships and make new connections.
The Unitas Wholesale members attending the four-day event in Vilamoura represent more than 90% of the total Unitas turnover, providing supplier attendees with invaluable opportunities for connections and conversations.
“As always, our conference is a brilliant environment for building new and existing relationships, while also providing a highly effective platform for face-to-face trading,” said John Kinney, Unitas Wholesale managing director.
“The annual conference is all about shaping the year ahead. During the business sessions, we will be bringing in experts in economy, policy, market data and insight to look at where we are, where we are going and how we get there. More than 30 of our brilliant wholesale members are contributing both on stage and screen, in addition to the 700 face-to-face meetings which are genuinely invaluable for building future plans.”
Unitas Wholesale board member Dr Jason Wouhra OBE, CEO of Lioncroft Wholesale, said: “The conference is an excellent opportunity to meet face-to-face with suppliers and discuss shared plans for the coming weeks, months and years. The business sessions always provide fantastic insight and inspiration, while the one-to-one meetings are invaluable for members and suppliers alike.”
