Quaker Oats is launching a new TV campaign to support the brand’s latest products, including three granola formats.
The advert will hit screens from Tuesday 1st September and will feature the new range: Quaker Oats Oat Granola, Warm & Crunchy Oat Clusters, and Wholesome Crunch. The ad will highlight Quaker’s ‘Natural Oat Goodness and Wholesome Benefits’: being made with wholegrain, helping to lower cholesterol and providing consumers with a high source of fibre.
The commercial features a bird following a trail of Quaker Oats to a woman enjoying breakfast. The bird then tries to steal her granola. The ad ends with the strapline ‘Quaker. Keep the goodness going’.
Duncan McKay, Quaker Senior Marketing Manager, commented: “This latest range from Quaker is designed to bring new consumers who want a tasty and healthy start to their day into the granola segment and drive sales for retailers, whilst helping to ignite growth within the cereals category. With only two in 10 UK households consuming granola today, the granola segment has enormous headroom for growth.”
The new formats are:
- Quaker Oats Oat Granola (rrp £2.69): crunchy oat clusters and available in Raisin, Apples & Cinnamon and Honey & Almond flavours.
- Quaker Oats Warm & Crunchy Oat Clusters (rrp £2.69): a blend of crunchy and creamy oat clusters, which warms in 30 seconds. The product is available in Apples & Cinnamon, Golden Crunch and Cranberry & Apple flavours.
- Quaker Oats Wholesome Crunch (rrp £3.89): a grain mix with chunks of fruits and nuts, available in Pecan & Brazil Nuts and Goji & Blueberry flavours.
