Londis has lowered prices on branded products in a bid to drive sales and attract cash-strapped shoppers during January.
The latest Londis Price Drop campaign runs until 13th February and features a number of half price offers. Focussing on Big Savings on Big Brands the price drop includes leading brands such as Lucozade, Doritos, Persil and Pepsi.
Londis retailer Marc Jones has welcomed the campaign. He said: “Londis have got the offers just right for January, with Belvita breakfast bars selling really well as customers are watching what they eat. Alongside that the Lucozade £1 offer is perfect for the cold weather, with shoppers needing extra energy to copy with colds and flu. Surprisingly the Isla Negra wine offer is now very popular after a slow start, it seems people have started drinking again! Everyone is a bit tight after spending all their money before Christmas and it’s important to emphasise offers at this time of year.”
John Pattison, Londis Retail Director, said: “Supported by in-store marketing, we’re making it clear to customers that they can save money on their doorstep without having to travel to a major supermarket. Retailer feedback so far has been positive and we’re looking forward to driving sales right up to Valentine’s Day.”
The offers on big brands are half price or less and the campaign is supported by everyday good value on the own brand Euro shopper range.

- Lucozade 4x 380ml £2.99 to £2
- Persil 23 wash £8.39 to £4
- Doritos, Pot Noodle and Capri Sun better than half price.
- 6x330ml Pepsi only £1.75
- Nouvelle toilet paper 16pk for £5
