PG tips is looking for lots of laughter this March, as it returns as an official Red Nose Day partner.
As part of the initiative, the brand is launching its #1MillionLaughs campaign, which looks to get the country chuckling by asking the public to share jokes across social media.
As well as donating £300,000 to the worthwile cause, PG tips will be introducing limited edition Red Nose Day packs, available to order now, which feature a joke inside to inspire consumers to take part. The campaign will also include out-of-home support and social media activity, with sponsored posts on Facebook and Twitter, alongside a dedicated Snapchat filter which will be available on Red Nose Day, 24 March.
In a bid to raise even more money and laughs for the campaign, PG tips is also launching a chatbot. This allows consumers to contact Monkey directly, via @MostFamousMonkey on Facebook Messenger. The brand’s knitted simian will then send them his best jokes. The chatbot also enables users to donate through the app and ask any questions they may have about the charity.
