Pepsi Max expands caffeine-free range and launches on-pack promo

Pepsi Max is tapping into the consumer demand for caffeine-free options with the roll out of Pepsi Max Caffeine Free 500ml bottles.

The launch comes as 79% of 18-35-year-old cold soft drinks shoppers say they are interested in caffeine- and sugar-free cola.

Pepsi Max Caffeine Free is the leading no sugar and no caffeine cola in the category, growing at 47% year on year and worth £20m in retail sales value.

Pepsi has also launched a nationwide ‘Thirsty for More’ campaign, giving consumers a chance to win exclusive Pepsi merch.

The promotion is live across all Pepsi packs until 30 April, with thousands of Pepsi-branded prizes including hoodies, hats, bags and skateboards up for grabs. All shoppers need to do is purchase a Pepsi pack in-store or online and scan the QR code for a chance to win.

The promo is supported by in-store displays and point of sale material across all major retailers.
