Panasonic Batteries has teamed up with the Spider-Man film franchise to launch a new promotion around the new Spider-Man: Homecoming movie.
The exclusive on-pack promotion is designed to engage with families with kids, by getting them to create their very own digital web for the chance to win themed prizes. These include a family trip to New York, the home of Spider-Man.
Packs for the promotion are available now until December 31, 2017 and carry a prominent image of Spider-Man. Promotional packs are also available with an extra-free batteries promotion, to offer shoppers more added value.
Tim Clark, of Panasonic Energy UK, commented: “Previous film associations have successfully helped us to build brand equity and engagement with our core audience of families with children. I am confident that by teaming up with such a recognised and popular franchise as Spider-Man, and featuring it on-pack and at the point of sale, it will really drive sales in this highly impulsive category.”
The competition is supported by a wide range of POS materials that all feature Spider-Man alongside the Panasonic logo and images of Panasonic batteries, as well as a call to action for the competition and movie.
Clark concluded: “For retailers wanting to harness the power of Spider-Man in their store, I would urge them to stock up now and ensure they display the promotional packs prominently, using point of sale materials and secondary displays around the store where space is available.”
