One-O-One Convenience Stores, which has a portfolio of 46 shops in Scotland, has extended its year-long charity partnership with Cash for Kids.
The partnership has delivered £50,000 of funds raised by One O One colleagues, with additional fundraising driven from the retailer’s sponsorship of the CFK 5k a day campaign on Clyde 1, which raised £125,000.
Jim Harper, Retail Area Business Manager at One-O-One, said: “When we kicked off our partnership last year, we could never have imagined how much cash we would raise and how the teams in stores would be so passionate to help children in poverty in the areas we trade in.
“Cash for Kids in conjunction with Clyde 1 fits perfectly with our iconic brand, so with the awesome fundraising and awareness raised of our business in 2021 it’s an easy decision to extend the partnership for another year into 2022.”
Grace Reilly, Regional Charity Manager at Cash for Kids, added: “Due to the success of this charity partnership with One-O-One it has allowed Cash for Kids to support an additional 1,428 families through the toughest of times, providing grants for basic essentials like food, heating and school uniforms.”
