Users of Nisa Retail’s epositive EPoS solution now have the ability to remotely monitor their business when physically away from the store thanks to a new mobile app being rolled out across the estate.
The new smartphone app, now available for a variety of iOs and Android devices, allows store owners and managers to view real time trading performance regardless of the user’s physical location to the business.
Daily and weekly sales totals, customer counts and item counts can be viewed and compared to the previous day’s figures as well as analysed average basket values to show the stores trading performance. In addition exceptions that may be occurring in store can be analysed such as voids, paid outs and refunds to identify any issues or problems that require a retailer’s attention.
The value and volume of the retailer’s orders for the day is also illustrated to ensure that cut off times are met by staff as well as various other checks and balances that should be monitored, such as confirming stock takes and downloads have taken place.
“The independent retailer’s time is very precious and we hope that by giving them the ability to keep watch over their store when physically removed, goes some way towards freeing up their time to allow them to concentrate more on strategic planning as opposed to the day to day checking that a conscientious retailer would carry out in store,” said Peter Walker, Head of EPoS at Nisa Retail Limited.
Scottish retailer Sid Ali is one of many Nisa retailers to have trialled the app over the last few months and comments, “The epositive member app is incredibly useful and as a busy retailer I don’t know how I managed before without it. It allows you to keep abreast of store data remotely, allowing you to concentrate on the elements of your management responsibilities which so often take you away from the shop floor.”
