Nisa has announced that it has recruited over 270 former Costcutter retailers since March 2012, worth over £100m.
The group revealed earlier this month that it had also welcomed 17 former Costcutter members based in Northern Ireland to the group. Since September 2014 Nisa has recruited £10 million worth of business in Northern Ireland.
This comes in addition to a total of 545 stores, excluding export business, joining the business during 2014. While in the financial year to date, the company’s symbol group grew by 5% year-on-year.
“The retailers who are joining us, like our current members, value their independence but also realise that through Nisa they benefit from a strong, recognised brand, sector leading delivery levels, low cost of goods, a 13,000 strong range, an award winning own label brand and a great range of promotions which keeps them competitive in the market place,” said Nigel Gray, Business Unit Director for Symbol at Nisa.
