As Easter approaches, Nisa is supporting its retailers to make the best of the current situation with a slightly different focus on promotional products to help shoppers enjoy less extravagant celebrations.
Head of Marketing at Nisa Philippe Rondepierre explained: “As shoppers look ahead to an Easter weekend in lockdown, they’ll be planning to celebrate in a different way this year. Rather than travelling to holiday homes or visiting family and friends, people will be at home and many will be buying their Easter weekend essentials locally, to limit how far they travel.
“To meet these different needs, Nisa has focused on some key features for Easter and included on the consumer leaflet for Easter are all the ingredients needed for a family Easter meal, including a £1.85/kg beef joint, potatoes, vegetables and a bottle of 19 Crimes Argentinian Malbec.”
Co-op’s Easter flowers range will still arrive in stores this week, and for households with children and teenagers, Nisa partners are encouraged to feature the remainder of their Easter Eggs in a prominent position to promote impulse purchases.
Other opportunities for retailers to help shoppers make the most of the long weekend include a selection of treats in Nisa’s Cosy Night In feature, with Pizza Express pizzas at half price (£2.50) and a wide selection of snacks for the family to enjoy in front of the TV.
Finally, the £5 Freezer Deal offers a Goodfellas Big Cheese Thin Crust, a pack of Co-op Garlic Baguettes, a bag of Co-op Battered Onion Rings, a bag of Co-op Skin-on Fries and a tub of Cadbury Creme Egg Ice Cream.
