The Cider Festival event is back in Nisa stores, offering a range of “refreshing deals” until 4 August.
The promotion is supported with themed marketing materials and POS to help retailers to create in-store theatre and draw attention to the category, whilst online the event is promoted on Nisa’s website and consumer-facing social media channels.
Promotional lines include 10 packs of 330ml Kopparberg Rosé, Kiwi and Lime or Pineapple and Raspberry Old Mout Cider at £10, 4 x 330ml packs of Kopparberg Mixed Fruit or Strawberry and Lime at £5 and – in Scotland – £2 each on bottled ciders including Rekorderlig Botanicals Rhubarb & Lemon 500ml, Thatchers Rosé and various Brothers ciders.
More traditional favourites on offer include Strongbow Original and Cloudy Apple 10 x 440ml at £9, Magners Original Apple 18 x 440ml at £11 and Thatchers Gold 4 x 500ml or Haze 4 x 440ml for £4.50.
Nisa’s Wholesale Category Controller for beer, ales and cider Sam Yeadon said: “While lockdown restrictions have already begun to ease, including those on pubs, bars and restaurants, many people are still choosing to drink at home; presenting a great opportunity for Nisa partners to capture these sales as shoppers continue to shop locally.
“In addition, customers will be looking for lighter drinks to enjoy with al fresco meals and BBQs, so our Cider Festival event will cater for these occasions and help shoppers stock up for less with competitive offers on a wide range of ciders.”
