Less than two weeks after its launch, the NFRN’s Covid-19 Hardship Fund has paid out over £20,000 to cash-strapped members.
So far 15 members whose businesses were suffering due to the coronavirus outbreak have received financial assistance from the fund. The average pay-out has been £1,206.
NFRN National President, Stuart Reddish, said: “I am incredibly proud of our hardship fund and that we have been able to step in to help members so quickly.
“We will continue to support all of our members throughout these highly-challenging and unprecedented times.”
The fund was launched to throw a lifeline to members who are facing severe hardship amid Covid-19.
It offers financial assistance in the form of a grant to members suffering cash flow and other financial challenges.
Terms and conditions and the application form can be found on the NFRN website.
