Decongestant oil brand Olbas has unveiled a new TV ad campaign that will debut across the UK in October.
The TV ad spearheads a £1.5m pound media investment and features a new animated character, Lauren, who – surprise, surprise – is suffering with congestion caused by a cold.
Lauren’s house begins to fill with balloons causing Lauren to feel uncomfortable and restricted – just like the ‘bunged up’ feeling of a heavy head cold.
To ease her symptoms, Lauren reaches for a bottle of Olbas Oil and – who’d have guessed it? – the balloons deflate and the house returns to normal.
The campaign also includes a strong PR programme to ensure the brand and retail sales are well supported throughout the peak cold and flu season.
