Mondelēz International has launched two new 80g PMPs and is extending availability of a Christmas SKU to all year round.
Cadbury Dairy Milk Giant Buttons and Bitsa Wispa are now available in new 80g £1 pricemarked packs. Terry’s Chocolate Orange Milk Chocolate Minis (125g, rrp at £1.99) will be available throughout the year from March.
The launches aim to help retailers get even more out of their bagged confectionery range. Declan Duggan, brand manager for bitesize at Mondelēz International, commented: “We believe that the launch of the two new 80g PMP packs will help to increase consumer confidence and drive impulse purchasing.”
Duggan also hopes the Chocolate Orange Minis will attract new consumers to the format, as more than 40% of volume of Chocolate Orange Ball is sold outside of the Christmas period. He concluded: “This will be another way for customers to enjoy the great taste of Terry’s Chocolate Orange and may inspire new occasions for sharing.”
