Market-leading Kepak Convenience Foods is continuing its investment in hot snacking brand, ZUGO’s Deli Café, with the return of its Italian themed national sampling campaign.
The ZUGO’s Deli Café Gondoliers will be sampling in high footfall shopping centres and train stations across the UK throughout May and June. Last year’s campaign resulted in a 120% sales increase in sampled areas by driving brand awareness and trial.
This year the Gondoliers will visit London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow and Cardiff.
John Armstrong, Kepak Convenience Foods’ Marketing Director, says: “The campaign highlights the unique personality of the brand and reinforces its positioning as a delicious lunchtime option.
“It will accelerate demand by providing consumers with a fun and memorable interaction with the brand and will connect with those looking for a deli inspired meal.”
Consumers will be able to have their picture taken with the gondoliers in the ZUGO’s Deli Café gondola and the activity will be supported by a dedicated Facebook campaign that includes a competition giving consumers the chance to win an iPad Mini.
The ZUGO’s Deli Café range currently comprises four products:
- Chargrilled Chicken, Mozzarella and Pesto Panini
- Bacon, Cheese and Mustard Mayonnaise Panini
- Carbonara Pasta Pot
- Bolognese Pasta Pot
Kepak is urging retailers to stock up on ZUGO’s Deli Café to meet what it predicts will be unprecedented levels of consumer demand.
